Rossendale - Riley Brothers

Riley Brothers were finalist's in the Butchers Shop of the Year awards last year.  It's a traditional butchers, with beef and lamb coming from their own farm nearby, and also a delicatessen selling everything you need for a fine dining experience.  

I was intrigued, but unsure, about the Lancashire Pineapple Chutney from nearby Heritage Kitchen:

until I learnt it didn't contain pineapple at all and is made with yellow beetroot!

I would particularly recommend their steak pie, it's made with good meat, good pastry and good gravy:
