Serendipity is a patisserie, ice cream and chocolate shop in Derby's Cathedral Quarter. It's run by husband and wife team Lee and Tracy Taylor and specialises in locally produced produce from small independent producers. They sell Artisan Biscuits from Ashbourne, Bluebell Dairy ice-cream from Spondon, chocolates and truffles from Bitter Sweet Chocolates near Melbourne (and that of course is Melbourne in Derbyshire and not the other one in Australia).
There's jam and chutney from Long Eaton and Nottingham, and Derby honey. They also do bespoke celebration cakes from a lady in Burton-on-Trent, and some rather fabulous desserts:
