Today is Oatcake Day (the date 08/08 clearly looks like six Staffordshire oatcakes with their centres bizarrely removed)! It's been organised by DJ Terry Bossons, who decided if pancakes can have a day of their own why shouldn't Staffordshire Oatcakes? A Facebook campaign was started here, and already there's over 8,000 members. With celebrities like comedian Sean Locke (quote: 'They are alright I suppose') endorsing the campaign, it's bound to be a success.
