I first met Graham Easby in Wakefield Market, where he'd just finished a cookery demonstration. He told me about his Wakefield pies and I thought "that's lunch sorted"!
You can see, just looking through the window, that this is an innovative business. The caramelised onion and cheese pies sounded good:
But I was here for the Wakefield pie.
The pinkish colour comes from the tomato sausage. It was very nice, but another customer told me their lamb and mint sauce pasties were even better! They also do gluten free pies.
If you've still got room you can finish off with a rhubarb ripple!
