Sidmouth

I love Sidmouth, with it's striking red cliffs, stunning views and fine architecture.  Sidmouth is on the Jurassic Coast in South Devon and lies at the mouth of the River Sid.  


Market Fish, in the Market Place, sell freshly landed sea fish and local shellfish:

I was told by some locals that the best place to get fish was Sidmouth Trawlers, which is situated just behind the Lifeboat Station:

Unfortunately they forgot to tell me it's closed on Mondays (which was the day I visited).  Still, it's nice to have an excuse for going back to Sidmouth...
