Johnson's of Thirsk

Johnson's of Thirsk quality butchers were established in 1830.   Last year they won the Best Traditional Business for Yorkshire in the Countryside Alliance Awards.  It's a good old-fashioned butchers, but not afraid to cater for new tastes, like these mushroom bakes with Moroccan lamb:
Their pork pies and sausages have also won awards, and they do a gluten free sausage for people with a wheat intolerance.  They also sell duck eggs and Metcalfe's Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Rapeseed Oil.
