It's also the home of the Lancashire Pasty Company who make award winning handmade Lancashire pasties, with locally sourced ingredients.  

Varieties include this award winning (gold award in North West Fine Foods) Bowland lamb hotpot pasty:

- which is made with Trough of Bowland lamb, potatoes and onions from Ormskirk, and Lancashire butter.  

Vegetarians are catered for with Lancashire cheese and spinach rolls and butter pies.

There's also a Mawsons Oldham sarsaparilla, apple and custard pasty!
