The Deli @ Bewdley

I've always loved Bewdley, and thought it would be the perfect place to live, if only it had a good deli. Well now it has, situated on the right hand side of this lovely old building on Load Street. It's just a short walk from the River Severn and the Severn Valley Steam Railway. On the left hand side is Tipplers Off Licence who sell (amongst many other things) Tom Oliver's wonderful cider and even better perry, so between them you've got all the ingredients for a perfect party.
The owner, Chris Thomason, is well travelled and has excellent taste. So here you'll find great local food like Robert Swift's amazing bread, with unusual foods from all over the world.

There's local cheeses, like Elgar Mature, Worcester Blue, Worcester Gold, and a cheddar with Worcester sauce and shallots:
as well as some of the best cheeses from the rest of the UK, and further afield.

They sell Reg May's pork pies:
(also available in larger sizes):
which, with some of that cheese, and Robert Swift's bread, and other deli items, washed down with Tom Oliver's perry from Tipplers, is beginning to sound like the perfect meal....

You'll also find good olives, pickled shallots from Kit's Kitchen, delicious dressings from Scarlet & Mustard:
and balsamic vinegars, herbs and spices, dried mushrooms and coffee:
It's the sort of place that the longer you stay, the more nice things you'll find. There's sausage from Wenlock Edge Farm.  There's award winning jams and preserves from Simply Seasonal.

Where else would you find Sanpellegrino Limonata, from southern Italy, next door to Son and Styles Egremont Russet apple juice (which is pressed and bottled on the family farm at Blackstone, Bewdley), and is next door to the shop's own preserved lemons?
