Often you can find a really nice farm shop just off a motorway - which undoes all the stress of motorway travel.
A good example is Primrose Vale Farm Shop:
which is just a couple of minutes from Junction 11a on the M5. They sell their own home grown fruit and vegetables, as well as food from other carefully selected local suppliers.
In the autumn/winter they sell curly kale:
Now they've just started cutting their asparagus.
They also have a wonderful selection of home grown fruit, including blackberries, blackcurrants, gooseberries, loganberries, raspberries, strawberries, tayberries & whitecurrants.
It's a great place to find something different, you don't often see quince for sale.

and their bread comes from Halls Quality Bakers in Stroud. They sell meat from the Cotswold Farmer, and frozen fish from the Cornish Catch.
If you think all milk tastes the same, try some of their organic milk, from Jess's Ladies, - which has won gold in the Great Taste Awards.
They sell Marshfield Farm Icecream (another Great Taste Award winner) and, during the pick your own season, there's a café.

and different events through the year - like Open Farm Sunday and a Halloween farm trail in the Autumn.
