Tunstall - May 'N' Mar Laydeez Oatcakes

This shop has been previously mention when it was trading as A H Short. It's changed hands and is now May N Mar Laydeez Oatcakes

which is a great example of the Potteries dialect.  

Unlike the Oatcake Shop in Tower Square (who buy them in), they still make traditional Staffordshire oatcakes on the premises.

In the previous shop there were some nice old photos of Tunstall (which the previous owner took with him). However they've done better than that and replaced the pictures with a fine mural on the tiles:
