One of the highlights of my visit to Glasgow was visiting Iain Mellis's cheese shop, so when I was in Edinburgh I had to visit another of their other shops!
Their first ever shop was in Victoria Street, in Edinburgh’s Old Town, but the shop I visited was in Stockbridge:
which is a great area to visit for lovers of fine food!
There's a great selection of fine cheeses:
some serious sausage rolls (eg black pudding or pork, almond and wholegrain mustard):
and how about a madagascan vanilla, or chocolate and hazelnut, or lemon curd doughnut?
