Edinburgh - The Manna House Bakery

The Manna House Bakery is an artisan bakery selling handmade breads, savoury bakes and fine pâtisserie on Edinburgh's Easter Road.
It's owned by Drew Massey and bakery is in his blood - he's the third generation of Masseys to have had a bakery shop!

In the shop:
there's a small café, and you can also sit outside.  Everything is made on the premises.  They sell locally blended coffee and tea from Eteaket.

There's every sort of bread imaginable
including multigrain donker, wholemeal harvester, pumpkin, cornmeal and caramelised garlic ciabatta.
There's also good selection of sourdough:
including their Innis and Gunn sourdough (made with a Scottish craft beer).

If you've got a sweet tooth there's banana bread
and some amazing pâtisserie and cakes like these coffee opera gateaux:
which would look good on the Great British Bake Off!

They've won numerous awards, I suggest you visit and find out why!
