Cleobury Mortimer is in south Shropshire, half way between Ludlow and Kidderminster. It's an attractive town (labelled as "gateway to the Shropshire hills") and it's a lovely drive over the Clee hill to Ludlow.Of culinary interest in Cleobury Mortimer is a good butcher:

It's a good old fashioned baker with good bread and cakes. Best of all are the pork pies. I've been to Melton Mowbray to sample genuine pork pies, but much prefer the ones from Browns in Cleobury.
