Happy New Year tomorrow to all who celebrate the Lunar New Year.
Last year I was very proud with myself for managing to write my post on the excellent Wing Lee Chinese Supermarket when it was the Chinese New Year. This year I've done a bit more research, and found that the Lunar New Year is also celebrated in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Tibet and Vietnam on the 26th January 2009. So in the next few posts I'm going to try and find shops in the UK where I can buy foods popular in these countries.
